Learn: Racing clinic with Henoch

We want to help our customers enjoy the cycling they do. Some people want to ride occasionally, or just around the park.

For others, you want to learn how to ride competitively – and aren’t sure how to get started.

That’s why we offer the “Introduction to Racing” clinic, taught by Henoch Getz. Here he is last week at our SoHo shop; he’s teaching the clinic this week at our Brooklyn shop.

In addition to giveaways from Power Bar (yum) and Lazer Helmets (swanky!), you have the chance to apply what you learn the following week – at an optional track race with Henoch and other attendees, down at Floyd Bennett Field!

Attendance at the clinic is mandatory for the race portion. Registration is still open for tomorrow’s clinic in Brooklyn.

Will you have other racing clinics in the future? Can’t make it tomorrow but am VERY interested!

    • We typically host these clinics in spring; we might have a short clinic in August. If you can’t make that, we also like New York Cycle Club’s SIG programs. Both NYCC and the 5BBC offer short clinics throughout the year. Hope this helps!

Awesome, thanks! I did the NYCC B-SIG program this year actually — it was great! I’d like to do the A-SIG program (which seems to be more focused on racing than the B-level) but that’t not until next winter/spring. Will definitely keep looking around and excited to join one of the women’s rides on Friday morning in Prospect Park. Thanks for everything that y’all do!
